Catalysts play a unique role at One Collective - functioning as humble learners and also central leaders within a specific community. They live out the ways of Jesus as part of a proven strategy in use across One Collective communities - and manage teams of workers who are passionate about sustainable solutions.
One Collective Catalysts are a lot like general contractors. They may not have the specific skill needed to solve a problem, but they know how to bring people together to make sure the job gets done.
It takes a special kind of person to bring people together around a shared idea - especially when a key barrier to change is often differences between community stakeholders and partners.
This means that a critical part of the Catalyst role is about working with others. You’ll find that Catalysts share characteristics like humility and intentionality - and that working in this role often means encouraging and empowering others to take ownership of key initiatives.
One Collective is looking for leaders who are:
Passionate about seeing and caring for people typically pushed to the margins of society
Comfortable with conversations about finances and raising support for projects or initiatives
Interested in entrepreneurship and sustainability
Ready for something “more” in creating impact and joining what Jesus is doing
Excited about facing challenges and problem solving in creative ways
Comfortable bringing all kinds of people together around the idea of change - especially people who have historically been divided
Skilled at team leadership and management
Committed to the idea of long-term impact
