The people of Chibolya are strong in body and heart, but much is at stake for their community. There are numerous challenges creating and sustaining pockets of invisible groups that remain isolated on a daily basis.

Short-term teams can help play a role in encouraging the invisible, while contributing to long-term transformation in Chibolya. While every team’s set of skills and abilities are taken into consideration, there are a number of areas in which a team get involved, including small scale agriculture, business and ethics, medical, sports, and family/individual recovery and empowerment.

The most important attributes that a team can bring, however, are to demonstrate love through humility and a willingness to engage in relationship while learning from those in the community.
