The Pilgrim House Welcome Center, located in Santiago de Compostela, is a place for pilgrims finishing the Camino de Santiago to find respite from their walk and take time to reflect on their life and future. We offer a safe place to explore and engage the deeper questions concerning the love and mystery of God, life, and our resilient frailty. This time of reflection is sacred and the Welcome Center’s purpose is to foster physical, mental, and spirtual space for this time.

If pilgrims are seeking, searching, or just needing a moment of respite, they are welcome here. We can offer them a cup of coffee and a listening ear, or maybe a place to do laundry or have a quiet place to be alone. Whatever their needs are, our doors are open for them.

Funding for the Pilgrim House Welcome Center comes from pilgrims as well as from donors engaged in our mission of creating safe space where transformation can take place by caring for the physical and spiritual needs of travelers. Ongoing operating expenses are $36,000 per year.
