Ecuador is a beautiful and diverse country in the northwestern part of South America along the Andes Mountains. However, poverty, oppression and lack of education continue to be significant issues in this country. Children particularly are vulnerable to a variety of social and spiritual risks.

Youth World has been working in the Quito region of Ecuador since 1994 to impact Latin America and the world by reaching young people with the life-saving Gospel of Jesus Christ in a holistic manner.

We are seeking a health education coordinator* who can provide trainings on various health topics to both Youth World staff and local communities. This person would be responsible for coordinating, planning, and presenting education opportunities that are holistic and accessible. These trainings would be in both English and Spanish so Spanish proficiency, particularly any experience with medical Spanish, would be a benefit. This person would also build relationships with local partners to find health resources that our participants can access.

*Can be from any health or allied-health profession as long as they have some health knowledge (bonus if they also have an education background like a nurse educator)
