Do you have experience with disabilities education? In this region, children with disabilities are neglected, abandoned, and actively mistreated. Not only is there a negative stigma attached to them, but the education system does not have the training or resources to come alongside these children and teach them.

We are looking for an individual who has experience working with and teaching youth and children with intellectual and cognitive disabilities, and desires to use this experience in a cross-cultural, short-term context. This person would work with locals in the community, primarily teachers and parents, providing a basic knowledge of how to equip and educate these children and developing accessible tools and resources. They would also work with a local therapy center for at-risk youth and families, developing individual education plans for those they work with. A degree or background in Special Education, or a similar field, is required.
