Our community includes many who are struggling through life-controlling addictions. There are a few programs throughout the city, treatment centers, and outpatient programs but our ministry has not been able to pull all this research together. The aim of the Addiction Recovery Specialist is to research this particular segment of our population, develop strategies for our community to address the issue, and build relationships with those involved in addiction recovery programming.

This particular opportunity will include all the various components of a typical ministry internship— discipleship, urban mission practice, incarnational living, personal development.
