Haiti Relief

Support our partners in Haiti

On August 14th, Haiti experienced a 7.2 magnitude earthquake causing damage to or destroying more than 136,000 buildings. Nearly 2,200 people lost their lives and more than 12,000 were injured.

Six classrooms and the kitchen of our partner school, Top Notch, in Torbeck experienced damage. It will cost $5,000 to repair each room (a total of $35,000). This school brings the hope of a future to students through a quality education and provision of a daily meal.

In addition to the rebuilding of the school, we will support the efforts of other partners in Haiti by providing funds for food, tarps, tents, and water filters. A micro-loan program will be established to assist businesses in rebuilding or restarting.
