The valley of Hope and Expectation
Tyume Valley consists of a number of villages nestled under the beautiful Hogsback mountains. A once prosperous valley known for its beautiful citrus orchards which brought gainful employment to the communities, the valley is the home to the amaKhuze people. In the last few decades however, due to the political turmoil of the early 1990s, farms were abandoned and infrastructure became dilapidated which then plunged the community into poverty. With poverty and unemployment at an all time high, crime and substance abuse has increased and churches are dying out.
The people of the Tyume valley are ripe for a fresh move of God. The land and the people full of potential, await once more for the sons and daughters of God to arise, to preach the gospel, to help the people develop their land and in so doing restore their dignity and kingdom purpose
