
Suzette Webb
Director
Suzette is founder and CEO of Light of Mine, a company that designs and manufactures special purpose lighting solutions for military vehicles. She is also the author of her self-published spiritual and self-empowerment book Moments of Truths. She will release her second book, Blues to Blessings: from Fearful to Faithful, in early 2015.
Suzette Webb has 20+ years of value-creation experience specifically in designing effective marketing and sales strategies for high-growth firms and minority business development. Prior to founding LOM in 2006, she led the business building strategy for Diversity in the post-bankruptcy era of United Airlines. Additionally, during her tenure at Burger King Corporation, she co-developed a National Hispanic Initiative to improve new business development within the high- growth U.S. Hispanic marketplace, and worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to establish the first Burger King restaurant on a historic Black college campus.
Webb holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University, and a Bachelors degree in Communications from Loyola University in New Orleans. Past and present affiliations include Jobs for Youth, Board Member; Spencer Stuart's Diversity Roundtable. She also serves on the Local School Council for Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, a leading selective enrollment high school. She is married to Jonathan Webb and is the proud mother of three sons: Joshua, Julian and Jonathan II.
