Melissa is an Associate at Phillips Murrah, PC, where she offers a variety of legal services to clients in the oil and gas industry. She helps clients ensure that they are in the proper legal standing to undergo exploration and production operations. Before working at the firm, she worked in-house with Chesapeake Exploration, LLC, the world's leading producer of natural gas.

She holds a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. She currently resides in Oklahoma City with her dog, Spurgeon. She leads a community group at her local church, Henderson Hills, in Edmond, Oklahoma, and has been passionate about Christ's impact on lives on an international scale since college, traveling internationally to see what Jesus is doing in various parts of the world, specifically SE Asia. And for the past five years, she has rowed on a corporate rowing team in Oklahoma City.
